According to the statistics issued by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the country has witnessed a decline in the number of mobile phone users, with the telecom giant Mobilink boasting the most number of subscribers.
The report reveals that the total number of cell phone user in the country has cropped down to 114.7 million.
Collectively, all network subscribers experienced a cutoff of 22 million customers.

Nonetheless, Mobilink leads from the rest of its rivals with a massive user base of 33.42 million subscribers.
The runner-up is Telenor with 31.49 million subscribers. Zong seizes the third sport on the list with a customer base of 22.10 million users.
Reeling below the list are Ufone and Warid, with 17.80 million and 9.91 million subscribers.

The PTA statistics have been released after the extensive bio-metirc re-verification of sims conducted all over the country.
