Mobile phone and wireless Internet services including EVO and WiMAX were halted early morning today in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as a full dress rehearsal for Pakistan Day parade was underway.
According to the reports, mobile phone services are likely to remain closed till 3:00 PM (afternoon) until the Pakistan Day parade rehearsals are being carried out, Islamabad police authorities have devised a special traffic plan for daily travelers to avoid any traffice disruption for the general public.

Further reports in regards to the suspension of mobile and internet services highlighted that some areas of the twin cities are likely to face the mobile and internet suspension on 23rd March as well for security reasons.
The army forces will carry Pakistan Day parade to mark the prestigious occasion on 23rd March 2016.
