mobile-service-suspended

Sindh Govt has announced the suspension of all mobile phone services in Karachi on account of Youm-e-Ali.  The mobile phone services will be put off from 4 pm to 9 pm during the procession timings, to avoid any security attacks. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has issued directives to make security arrangements for the procession.

“Phone services will also remain suspended tomorrow from 4am to 9pm,” a home department spokesperson said.

The suspension also spreads in adjoining cities including Sukkur and Hyderabad. Along with mobile phone services, pillion riding has also been banned in 36 districts on July 9.
