McDonald’s has been under the spotlight for all the wrong reasons recently. Time and again, it has been blamed for poor quality, expired product usage and obesity issues.

However, this time finally the fast food chain has decided to address the issue directly, especially the concern that it still uses pink slime, by calling in a popular myth buster, Grant Imahara, to visit their food factories and dispel the rumors once and for all.

The social media campaign launched by McDonald’ named “Our Food. Your Questions” aims to prove that their food quality is mainly targeted at the Generation Y, the core McDonalds consumers.

The first video of this food transparency campaign was released yesterday which showed Grant Imahara investigating the patty making process, from beginning till the end. Watch the video here:

As part of the campaign, all McDonald’s consumers from across the world are invited to ask any sort of questions, regarding its food that creates a doubt in their mind, on social media. McDonalds promises to answer selected questions using videos at YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

The aggressive PR campaign started in USA has also been launched in Canada and Australia and is expected to put the McDonalds lovers’, particularly Millennials’, minds at ease. For those wishing to join in conversations and Q/A sessions, you can follow McDonalds on Twitter at @McDonalds andFacebook page or visit their official website McDonalds.com.
