No newcomer to the big screen, Mathira has revealed her plans for the next year by announcing 3 new movies! In an interview with Tribune, Mathira said that she will be seen next in Moammar Rana’s Sikander. The movie is currently in pre-production and will hit the floors in Karachi after Muharram. It revolves around the underworld, will see her play a villainous role.

Up next, the sultry VJ will be seen romancing the Wrong No. actor Danish Taimoor. “I’m playing one of the two female leads opposite Danish Taimoor in the film,” she said.

The movie is based on a love triangle, “it’s a love story and shows how love can transform into an obsession.”

Mathira will also star in an upcoming project by Shamoon Abbasi. It will take a look at the dark and gritty happenings in the underworld, similar to Sikander.

All three films are slated to release around Eid ul Fitr 2016, as “that’s the time when films make [the most] business in the country.”
