World’s leading beauty brand L’Oréal Paris, in line with global success of their virtual makeup application, will exclusively be launching Makeup Genius at this year’s PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week from 16th September to 18th September 2015.
Based on the insight that beauty is one of the most Googled topics in the world (about 4 billion searches a year), the group’s innovation incubator decided to respond to the needs expressed by consumers by offering greater customization and interaction with their brand.
L’Oréal Paris will be providing an exclusive preview of the application to the attendees of PLBW2015. Guests will be encouraged to test the app to get a first-hand experience of the digital innovation through augmented reality pioneered by L’Oréal Makeup Designer Paris.
Makeup Genius will enable consumers to test makeup products using their mobile phone or tablet as a virtual mirror. Consumers can now test makeup products, a new makeup look, or simply create their own look to save and share and instantly experience the most premium and innovative Before & After service. L’Oréal Makeup Designer Paris’s use of facial expression monitoring technologies has created the most effective and realistic color rendering in real-time using a smartphone camera. Through this innovation, L’Oréal Makeup Designer Paris aims to offer all women an unprecedented beauty “e-routine”.
