Time and time again the government of Pakistan and its people, including celebs like Shahid Afridi, have insisted that if the people of Pakistan want to visit Switzerland, they should just pack their bags and head north.
Imran Khan’s government is also doing everything possible to promote tourism in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to strengthen tourism.
Senior provincial minister Atif Khan launched the application on Wednesday.
In a first, the KP government has launched the province’s very own tourism application and website called KPtourism.
Both portals will be the guideline tourists need to book hotels, get information, and much more.

The app is available for both iOS and Android. Atif Khan Senior Minister for Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Culture, Museums and Youth Affairs shared the good news on his official Twitter.

On the other hand, the KP Government has opened a new tourist spot for the promotion of tourism. The new spot is located at Samundar Katha Lake, near Barra Gali.
This stunning lake has been designed and created artificially amidst in the middle of the mountains to enable tourists to enjoy speed boats, zip-lining, and horse riding.
We have created a new tourist destination so that visitors coming to Goliath can enjoy it, however, we are trying to further improve it, -Galiyat Development Authority’s spokesperson Ahsan Hameed
Prime Minister Imran Khan also opened doors of Governor House Nathiagali for the general public.
