Kareena Kapoor as UNICEF Celebrity Advocate

Visiting Pakistan has become the new it- thing for Bollywood actors nowadays. First Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone expressed their views of visiting Pakistan and now Bebo, aka Kareena Kapoor Khan has expressed her wishe to visit Pakistan to promote the education of girls.

Kareena Kapoor, who is also the UNICEF’s celebrity advocate in an interview with an Indian News Agency revealed that education for girls is very important and it’s the basic right of any children. She said that she would do whatever it takes to promote quality education for children.

In the Interview, Kareena was asked about visiting Pakistan for this cause, on which she replied, “Of Course yes, I would love to go anywhere to spread the message of girl child education.”

Kareena, while speaking in the interview mentioned that, “There is no doubt that tremendous progress has been made in India in the area of delivering education to children. But even today, the quality of education remains a big challenge.”

Kareena Kapoor in the interview urged the parents to support girl education and to motivate their children especially girls for higher education. She even talked about her inspirations towards this motive of spreading the need quality education. She said, “I met some incredible girls of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Rajasthan who inspired me with their life stories. They highlighted their desire to complete secondary-level education.”
