According to our geography books, Pakistan experiences the monsoon season every year from June to August. However Karachi is one of those cities that usually misses out of the rain. We see other cities enjoying rain, hail and thunderstorms, while we spend our time hiding from the strong rays of the sun.
Therefore it is understandable that when it does rain in the rain-starved Karachi, people express their joy and irritation in some cases on every social media website. Twitter in particular, sees an increase in rain-related tweets.
