While we thought the notorious knife attacker has gone into hibernation, he returns with a splash, even more, deadly than before.
After treading through Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan- E- Jamal, the mystery maniac have now been allegedly spotted on North Nazimabad.
As usual, he has targetted a woman in broad daylight at 8:30 am in the morning with a sharp-edged tool near Al-Fatah park of Hyderi area. The lady, becoming the 16th victim of a spate of such attacks, has been identified as Shehrina w/o Ghulam Asghar and was believed to be in her 40s.
Knife Attack Case in Lahore
Meanwhile, a woman in Lahore was wounded in a knife attack by an unidentified man on a motorcycle.
The attack occurred when the lady was returning to her house from a park within the housing society. She was immediately taken to a hospital where she received 22 stitches.
Culprit still at large in Karachi
The horrible episode has the nation’s police on the edge. However, has been 18 days and the Karachi knife assailant is still at large.
A CCTV footage revealed little details regarding the appearance of the assailant.
“The suspect appears to be a thin man, aged 20-29,” DIG Khawaja said, adding that “he appears to be 5 feet, 7-9 inches tall” and usually rides a red motorcycle.
He is usually clad in a black shirt and is wearing black pants.
All of these ladies were attacked by the perpetrator with a supposedly sharp object. The purpose of the assailant is still unknown since he did not rob any of these ladies.
A reward worth PKR 0.5 million will be awarded to anyone who helps provide information, which could lead to suspect’s arrest
