The internet usually thrives on everyday masala, gossip and of course, moral policing. Over the weekend, there was an unforgettable social media brouhaha involving the Noble prize winner, Malala Yousufzai.

Ever since she has survived an attempted murder by Taliban, the young activist seemed to have irked a lot of people. The fact she even breaths irritates her haters, all of her achievements are ignored and shunned.

Apparently, one of her clicks, while she was going to Oxford University, got leaked and everybody lost their mind.

Pakistanis were just not able to digest the fact that Yousufzai could also wear something other than Shalwar Kameez!

Lord knows what she was supposed to wear other than jeans while she was in the west!

Of course, everybody ignored the fact that she was wearing a headscarf!

People had no shame while calling her a pornstar.

The whole world had jumped onto the anti-Malala train and was slinging mud at her!

Very few spoke sense on the matter and stood up for her!

The rising comedian, Junaid Akram too took to Facebook to silence all the pseudo intellects and the oh-so-pious Pakistani brethren who were creating a hue and cry! With his super powerful rant, he bashed the anti-Malala squad like there is no tomorrow and brought so many facts to light!

In the video, the Dubai-based comedian addressed the controversial issue in a witty way and questioned the moral police for bashing the 17-year old girl. Truly, Malala even while rocking jeans, appeared pretty modest in her dress code and we could not have been more proud of her.

But Akram went into a little more depth and attacked the root of all problems that originates back to when Malala was shot in Swat. People generally think that the whole episode was staged and the young girl is a drama queen, who made her way to Oxford via a propaganda.

This video is a huge reality check against all those who look down upon Malala and think she is a disgrace to our society. On the contrary, the story has another side of the tale that we all need to hear!
