Instagram has a new feature, which lets you post albums with portrait and landscape pictures.

Although this feature was launched in February however, previously, only square-format photos were possible to be posted.

With this latest update, users wouldn’t have to crop the pictures down to a square and would now be able to post pictures in a format of their choice.

The only issue is that users will have to choose a single photo format and stick with it, which means users won’t be able to create an album with both portrait and landscape photo’s, rather would be forced to pick one of the two mentioned formats.

Furthermore, Instagram has bee making other different improvements with its app. Users can now share up to 10 photos and videos as a part of a single post and swipe through to see them all.

In news feed, the album might look slightly different than regular pictures or videos, since they’re arranged in a series of small dots markings. Instagram also mentioned in their blog post;

“Over the past weeks, we’ve made other improvements to posts with multiple photos and videos. You can now edit tagged people after you’ve posted and, on iOS, you can save these posts as drafts if you aren’t quite ready to share them.”

This new feature will soon be coming to all your Instagram apps. Let’s hope that Instagram keeps bringing and improving its features and make it more interactive and user-friendly.
