AUG 18th, 2013 – The world’s largest gaming exhibition, Gamescom, will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 21 to August 25.

Participants from more than 40 countries will showcase their interactive entertainment innovations in the exhibition titled ‘Next Generation of Gaming’. 

The Gamescom is the largest gaming exhibition and trade fair that takes place.  This year, 635 exhibitors will display their games, compared to last year’s 603. 

Some of the biggest names in the IT and gaming industry will be an important part of this exhibition.  Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo will take the lead amongst others.

Gamescom would complete its five years of success with its latest exhibition providing a platform to buyers and dealers across the globe.

On the first day – August 21 – only traders and media will be allowed inside. However, limited access will be granted, and that too upon request, to general public after 12 noon that day.  

The percentage has been accelerated to 60%, through more participants, compared to 55% in the year 2012.

All the top buyers and representatives will be present for this prestigious event, attending to capture the latest and the most innovative gaming consoles, coming in from all over Europe. 

Also, as an addition, private visitors, who registered themselves on February 1st this year, were able to purchase afternoon tickets for Media Day.
