With almost a month left in its release, the much awaited Bollywood film Fitoor is emerging in the forefront for its promotion and marketing. The flick has Katrina Kaif, Aditiya Roy Kapoor and Tabu in its lead cast and we got to hear that our very own heartthrob Imran Abbas was to do the lead negative role in the movie.
According to a report published by Pakium, Abbas was offered a negative role in the movie but could not pursue it because of visa issue.
The shooting of the movie was scheduled in Sirinagar and when Abbas could not get the visa, the project slipped out of his hands. The role that initially Abbas had to play was actually played by veteran director Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt.
It’s not the first time that Abbas had to let go of a project because of visa issues. In past, major projects under big banners like Raam Leela and Aashiqui 2 were also offered to the actor which he could not pursue for the same issue.
Abbas is currently working on Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Ha Mushkil that also has Fawad Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwariya Rai and Anushka Sharma. He went to London to shoot for the movie, where he also took selfies and recorded a video message with Ranbir Kapoor.
Besides movies, Imran is also to represent Pakistan in an international Urdu Festival – Jashn-e-Rekhta which is to be held from 12th to 14th February in Delhi.
Abbas is cementing his good reputation in Bollywood and is also ready to make debut in the local film industry.
With all these different and happening projects in his basket, Abbas is going strong as well as managing his TV and film career quite well as he is also roped in for a lead role Yasir Nawaz’s next serial with Ayeza Khan and Hira Tareen.
