Billboards created by Ogilvy France that double as street furniture for IBM’s Smarter Cities campaign won the top Grand Prix award for the outdoor category. The designs included shelters, benches and ramps. The purpose of the campaign is to “spark positive change” and unite city leaders and forward-thinking citizens, while the new outdoor ads were designed to be “not only beautiful, but useful to city dwellers”. The billboards were first launched in London and Paris, and IBM intends to roll out the designs across other cities around the world.
