Keep your welled up emotions in control and tears in check as we announce the absence of Hodor and Bran Stark from Game of Thrones’ season 5.

Kristian Nairn aka Hodor, in a recent statement mentioned that he and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bryan) will not be making an appearance in GOT’s season 5.  Nairn stated

We have a season off and we have a year’s hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books,

In the previous season we saw Bryan and Hodor making their way towards the wilds of North to meet the three-eyed raven based on Bryan’s visions.

Though after reaching their destination by the end of Season 4, three eyed raven told Bryan,

You will never walk again. But you will fly…” unfortunately, to find out the meaning of this enigma, we’ll have to wait till 2016.

So what does this season holds for us? With HBO’s most addictive series outpacing George R.R. Martin’s book series already, GOT”s season 5’s story is still hard to guess.

Whatever the story for this season is, a fact is that we won’t be seeing the 15 year old Bryan anytime soon till he’s sweet 16 along with his guardian akar who plans to spend his vacations by DJing at “Rave of Thrones”.
