Unilever has been one of the top-notch companies for decades. Their attempt to work on different agendas has gained them massive attention over the years. This women’s day Unilever shared their supportive gestures and benefits they offer to their women employees to ensure equity and needless to say that the benefits are no less than exemplary.

1. Paid Maternity Leave

Unilever is supporting motherhood by offering paid maternity leave to its female employees for six months. Their attempt to strengthen the mother-baby bond for the new mothers working at their organization is better than the average market and local labor laws.

2. Paid Menstrual Leave

Unilever is the very first organization in MENA (the region consisting of 20 Islamic countries harboring about 20% of the global Muslim population) to introduce paid menstrual leaves for its female employees. The 12 paid days are assigned on an annual basis to end the stigma around period shaming.
