To all the crazy fans of GOT, the wait is about to get over now.
HBO has just announced the premier date for Game of Thrones season 5 – April 12, 2015.
The good news doesn’t end here; HBO will also be launching the second season of Silicon Valley on the same date as GOT.
The blockbuster fantasy TV series will get a limited IMAX roll-out later this month.The big screen presentation of HBO will include the final two episodes of season 4 and an exclusive trailer for the upcoming season.
Season 5 will be based mostly on the fourth and fifth novels of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, which are titled A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, respectively.
The story lines of the two books run concurrently but follow different sets of characters. According to IMAX, this will mark the first time a TV series has been showcased in this format.
