Sky Atlantic’s highly anticipated Arctic crime drama “Fortitude” was launched with an amazing activity taking place on the streets of London. A giant, life-like Bear was spotted casually strolling through the capital city. The Polar Bear was 8 ft long, animated robotic version, which was created with internal monitoring functions and with two real-life puppeteers inside. The show Fortitude depicts 3000 polar bears living alongside some 713 residents, and the show’s producers wanted to give audiences an up-close experience of this beautiful Arctic creature. The show which is an 11 part series, filmed in Iceland and the UK, starts this Thursday and stares Stanley Tucci, Michael Gambon and Christopher Ecclestone.
