Google has introduced a new email app called Inbox which is a completely different app designed by the same people who brought Gmail.

For now the app is available to only limited number of users and will expand its user pool in the same way that Google used for Gmail via an invite system.

Inbox makes it easier to deal with similar type of mails all at once. It automatically groups similar emails together, for example bank statements and restaurant bills making it easier for users to quickly review and then swipe them out of the way.

Users can even instruct Inbox to remodel the way they want to work by choosing which emails they would like to see grouped together.

Inbox even highlights the key information from important messages such as event information, flight information, photos and documents mailed to by family and friends.

It even shows important information from the web which might be of interest and one that was not present in the original mail for example, package delivers, real-time status of your flight which you don’t want to miss.

There are many other Google features such as Assists, Snoozes that act as a built-in to do list and Reminders. For instance,  if you make a reservation for a restaurant online, Inbox will provide you with a map to your confirmation mail or for instance you book a flight online, Inbox will give you a link to check in.

Although When a user will start using Gmail, they will feel the difference. Though Gmail is still there, Inbox is a smarter way to manage your mails accordingly. It is a more preferable way to get back to what matters
