Facebook has launched a new Sports Stadium app to help you connect with friends when watching sporting events reports The Verge.
Facebook Sports Stadium has been designed so you can share your thoughts and feelings on the game in real-time on a dedicated section of Facebook.
Four tabs will be available in Sports Stadium with users able to switch between each one. The first tab will show play-by-play game details, another relevant comments from friends, the third comments from the experts, and the fourth statistics on the game you are watching.
Although Facebook won’t be showing games themselves in Sports Stadium, it is designed to complement the experience by providing this information about the game while you are following on television, allowing you to also follow friends’ opinions and interact with others even when you are unable to watch together.
