With Eid al Fitr only a few days away, the preparations for the festive occasion are at an all time high. There’s food to cook, house to clean and shopping to do. So naturally markets around the city are buzzing day in and day out. Karachi is already famous for a happening nightlife, with Eid looming over; it’s the city that never sleeps.
Every market booms with shopkeeper’s calls and bargaining pleas, be it Tariq Road or Karimabad.
The Eid dress that was so thought out, would be lackluster without the jewelry to go with it. Hence the jewelry shops around the city are buzzing with women trying to find the perfect accessories, along with the footwear and bangles to complete the Eid look.
Mehndi is very popular around the time of Eid, so a lot of stalls are put up around the city.
The positive energy preceding Eid is a refreshing break for everyone.
