While Dilwale was rated in the ‘Top 5 Opening Day’ by raking 21 crore rupees along with blockbusters such as Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Singh is Bliing and Brothers, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh listed Bajirao Mastani in his top Favorite Movies of 2015.
Taran Adarsh highlighted that the protests in various cities, which resulted in the cancellation of shows has curtailed the business of both movies but as there is no major Hindi film scheduled till January 8, 2016, they are expected to gather more money in coming days.
Silver lining: Both #Dilwale and #BajiraoMastani liked by moviegoers. Multiple holidays ahead + no major Hindi film till 8 Jan advantageous.
