Coca-Cola Pakistan is delaying the inaugural date for its Coke Studio Season 7, which was previously announced as 7th September.

Coca-Cola Pakistan has taken a decision to delay the seventh season of its largest music show due to some unknown reason(s) and is currently making its fans wait a little more, with an update for the new date yet to be announced.

A possible reason for this delay can be an expected change in this season’s list of participating artists. The rumors also claim that the current political crisis in Pakistan could also be one of the many reasons for the delay.

Season 7 of Coke Studio is being directed by the famous pakistani band Strings. The previous official list of the participating artists revealed some of the famous names like Abida Parveen, Faraz Anwar, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Jawad Ahmed; after the disclosure of participation from such legends and many other talented musicians, the hype for Coca Cola’s flagship music show went skyrocketing.

The hype was however initially built back at this independence day by the launch of another official Coke Studio – Sound of the Nation – Coffee Table Book. A video preview of the book can be seen here.

All we hope for now is that Coke Studio Season 7 do make it to our screens without much delay and changes.
