1. Anwar Baloch
Located at Malir Bridge in Malir, Anwar Baloch is one of the most popular karahi eateries in town! They offer a variety of different karahi flavours including chicken karahi, mutton shahi karahi, prawn karahi, chicken brown karahi and batair karahi.
Out of this myriad range, their chicken and prawn karahi are the most famous ones. One of the great things about this restaurant is that you can give them your own meat of any breed and they can cook it for you by charging you a specific price per kg.

2. Afridi Inn
The local Afridis of Khyber PakhtunKhwa are known as the pioneers of this delicious savoury and at Afridi Inn, their karahi represents the same. Their chefs know how to score a perfect concoction of meat and spices to tantalize those taste buds and make you keep licking your fingers while eating.

The place oozes with mouth-watering aroma and Afghani flavours! There is something unique about the taste of Shinwari’s karahi that makes customers return every time. Their Afghani chicken and mutton karahi are the two dishes that food lovers absolutely rave about.

4. Salateen Restaurant
This is another equally popular go-to spot for karahi lovers in Karachi. In an open air dining area, the menu of Salateen Restaurant offers an array of scrumptious karahi versions; however, the most popular order is their ‘green masala karahi’. Braised chicken with a lot of sprinkled green chillies and coriander, the palatable green masala karahi will make you mop every inch of the gravy from your plate, with your naan.

Tooso offers a range of dishes and cuisines, but their karahi is something that will make you fall in love with this small eatery all over again. The restaurant is situated in Bahadurabad and offers chicken and fish karahi, two of their most popular servings.
Tooso’s karahi offers a tasteful blend of ‘chatkhaaraydaar’ spices. However, if we have to weigh the two in terms of taste, the fish karahi would be a definite win. Their karahi is spicy and tender, with an unbelievably sumptuous taste!

6. Madina Hotel on Superhighway
There are several restaurants on highway serving some delicious cuisines, but the Madina Hotel is that one eatery where people make a special visit merely to try out their karahi. Sitting on a charpai on the roadside and having that delicious karahi with naan is a unique experience that we all must have.
Just like other restaurants, this place offers all kinds of karahi versions, but their Balochi tikka karahi is the most famous of all.

Located on the scenic Do Darya belt, Kolachi is famous for a wide variety of dishes be it continental, Chinese or desi. However ask anyone and they will say the special Peshawari Karhai available in both Chicken and Mutton, is an absolute must have!
