Following Mehwish Hayat and Armeena Khan, now actor Ayesha Omar has also displayed her disappointment on the way Bollywood stars such as Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor have responded to the ongoing tension between Indo-Pak as well as the Kashmir issue.
As the tension between Pakistan and India rises, celebrities from both sides of the border are showing concern and raising their voice regarding the matter
Ayesha took to her Twitter account and called out Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor over their insensitive, uninformed and irresponsible remarks.
“First #PriyankaChopra ‘s dismissive stance and now #sonamkapoor ‘s views. I’m appalled and disappointed to say the least,” the Bulbulay star shared her displeasure stating that these artists are supposed to be ambassadors for peace.
“Are we actors not supposed to be ambassadors for peace? Where’s the sensitivity, empathy and humanity required to be an actor? Or just for being human?” she wrote further.

Priyanka has been massively criticised for encouraging war despite being a UN ambassador, while Sonam has also been trolled for saying she is very patriotic and doesn’t want to comment on the matter.
“It’s heartbreaking to see where the situation has landed right now and I’m very patriotic,” the actor began. “So I think for me it’s better to keep quiet and let this pass because even this too shall pass.”
We wonder what these Bollywood celebs are afraid of? There are so many brave voices in India who have courageously spoken about the Kashmir issue.
