As we prepare to bid the year 2017 farewell, Google recently released a round-up of the most searched words in 2017 across the world, country wise.
Pakistan’s list showed the top searched people to be Fabiha Sherazi and Noha Khwaan, Nadeem Sarwar who are in the top 2 positions.
We now take a look at what has been searched the most across the border in India. As seen in Pakistan’s google search list which had quite the influence from Bollywood, our fellow Indian counterparts were also under the Pakistani impact.
Out of the most searched words/phrases and songs Raees starring our very own diva, Mahira Khan was on the tenth spot on the top 10 Searches.
The Top 10 Google Searches in India are:

- IPL
- Live Cricket Score
- Dangal
- Half Girlfriend
- Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya
- Munna Michael
- Jagga Jasoos
- Champions Trophy
- Raees
Half Girlfriend, Raees, and Dangal were synonymous in Pakistan’s most searched list too.
The love for movies and songs are of a similar craze in both Pakistan and India. Pakistani rockstar, Atif Aslam’s ‘Dil Diyan Galla’ grabbed the 4th spot amongst the top 10 songs searched in the country.
