Apple has now expanded their trade-in program to include Android Phones, Blackberrys and Windows Phone handsets. This confirmation was announced by the Company on Monday.

This announcement signifies that all these type of smartphones can be traded in Apple stores from the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Germany and Italy. In return the consumers will receive a gift card which can be used at Apple Stores.

This move signifies that Apple is working to convert Windows as well as Android users to iOs. This will also boost hardware sales.

Initially, this trade-in program was launched in 2013, and last the year the feature was expanded to accommodate the purchase of iPads as well. This iPhone trade-in program will be launched on March 31st in China as well. The devices that will be traded in will be sold to Foxconn by Apple.
