“By the Sea” stars real-life husband and wife playing a struggling couple who reach breaking point at a French holiday resort.
Jolie Pitt not only stars as co-lead, but she also wrote, directed and produced the 70s-inspired movie. “By the Sea” follows her previous directorial roles in “In the Land of Blood and Honey” and “Unbroken”.

While there is no dialogue in this newest trailer, there is a lot of crying, shouting and physical violence between the couple. Other characters encountered at the resort are played by Mélanie Laurent, Niels Arestrup, Melvil Poupaud, and Richard Bohringer.
“By the Sea” arrives in US theaters on November 13th, and on December 11 for the UK.
The A-List couple who are co-starring in the movie have raised 6 children together and recently have released some intimate family moments in the latest issue of W Magazine.
