The second Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Paistan is being built in Peshawar.

The fifth Pak Wheels Auto Show 2015, held at Liberty Market in Lahore this year was dedicated to the support of this Hospital and Research Centre.

A multitude of people from different walks of life showed up at the event. Its inauguration was conducted by Ali Zafar along with cancer patients from the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.

The show claims to be the biggest annual auto event in Lahore with more than 1,000 car and bikes on display. The auto show displayed more than 450 categories of vehicles including cars, jeeps, sports cars, vans, and motorbikes in vintage, sports, luxury, 4×4 and modified categories.

Some of the big automobile names displayed at the event include Porsche, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, BMW and Nissan.

The main aim of the show is to provide a space for the display of automobiles and a forum for car-enthusiasts and lovers to meet and interact with each other.

The COO of PakWheels.com, Ahmed Saeed spoke on the occasion and said that, “Little is being done for auto lovers in Pakistan. Yes, they can go online and learn about some of the best vehicles out there but rarely do they get an opportunity to interact with other like-minded individuals.”

The management of SKMCH & RC acknowledged the contribution of PakWheel.com towards the building of the institute.
