Pakistan’s most famous anchor person Aamir Liaquat Hussain has resigned from the post of President of Geo Entertainment as a sign of protest against newscasters wearing APS uniform on the news bulletin on Geo News.
Aamir Liaquat announced his resignation through microblogging website Twitter and quoted a reason that he was not expecting this act (wearing APS uniform) from Geo on such sensitive matter as it will hurt the families of martyred children and other staff who lost their lives in the brutal act of terrorism.
