After decades of surviving on PIA and other International Airlines for air travel looks like Pakistan has finally caught up with the world of private air carriers. Earlier, Serene Air became a much-awaited latest entrant into the aviation industry of Pakistan

Just a few months back, Air Sial, a rising domestic airline declared its launch in the nation. Now, as many as four private airlines have reportedly applied for Regular Public Transport (RPT) Airline Licence to Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.

Following airlines have applied for a license

  1. Askari Air Pakistan
  2. United Airways Pakistan Limited (Air Pakistan)
  3. Liberty Air
  4. Afeef Zara Airway
  5. Go Green

Their licenses are processed in accordance with the Civil Aviation rules and the National Aviation Policy.

Recently, Air Sial, received its licence to conduct operations. It is a new private airline being established under the supervision of Sialkot Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will take to skies by the year-end, operating with the four planes it currently owns.
