The much anticipated mid-engine car, Honda/Acura NSX 2016’s concept was finally materialized and displayed in the 2015 Detriot Auto Show.

The aluminum framed hybrid car has a twin-turbo charged, v-6 engine with three electrical engines. Two engines are linked with each of the front wheels while the third is paired with the mid engine to give it added strength to the overall functioning of the car.

The floor of the car is made of carbon fiber to maintain the light weightiness of the car. The car flaunts a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The car was made longer and wider to make it the right size for the engine which was assembled at Anna, Ohio engine plant on the specialized line.

Another specialty of the car its ContiSportContact performance tire and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes which will be a value addition to the line of Super Cars.

Ted Klaus, chief engineer for the new Honda NS: “In the end we wanted to be able to evolve the design in the future. That was a big consideration.”

Even though the car will be first launched in USA the car will be later sold globally. The Car’s price is believed to be around $155,000 and the procedure of custom orders will start in the summer 0f 2015 with deliveries in the following year.

The car has a specialized production plan in Marysville, Ohio on which Honda invested approximately $70 million to transform it into Honda Performance Centre. The manufacturing process includes hand-made part of the cars manufactured by 100 employees.

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, who is known because of his role in The Fast and the Furious called the car “Amazing”he further added :

“You see so many different car companies post pictures of what the car is supposed to look like, all of the prototypes and all that. This is actually here, you know what I mean, this is something that you see, that is supposed to be coming, but it’s here and available to the world. ‘

The Honda ceased the production of NSX in 2005 which was worth $90,000 back then because of the slackening sales but the return of the car was met with gleaming eyes and enthusiastic words. Let’s hope this is the start of the future of Super Cars.
