The World’s Most Valuable Brands List for 2017 has been announced by Forbes, and it does not come as a surprise when the smartphones giant, Apple makes it to the top of the list again, retaining its spot for the 7th year in a row. The brand is valued at $170 Billion while earns a revenue of a whopping $214.2 Billion.


As expected there are a lot of technology companies on the list including Google, Samsung, and Microsoft. Social Media guru, Facebook made it to the coveted number 4 with a brand value of $73.5 Billion. Coca-Cola was the only beverage company that made it to the top 5.

The study conducted by Forbes to evaluate the top 100 powerful brands also took into consideration the amount the company spends on advertising annually. From the top 5 brands, Facebook is the one with the least spending with only $310 Million advertising costs to its name.
