Whoever attended Pakistani award shows is well aware how it’s almost impossible to escape the ‘all-in-good-fun’ mockery, targeted directly at the big wigs of the entertainment industry. The recent victim to this debacle was the adorable couple Urwa & Farhan.
However, like every event, Hum Style Awards had its fair share of highs and lows, and the dig taken at Farhan and Urwa was definitely a real blow!
During one of the segments “Most Stylish Celebrity in an Unlikely Situation”, the host Adnan Malik and Amina Sheikh took a jibe at Farhan Saeed highlighting how difficult it’ll be for the actor to “get a job without Urwa Hocane.” However, being the gentleman that he is, the star took it all in good fun and laughed it off. That’s good sportsmanship, Farhan!
Had there been anyone else, he would have definitely been offended and walked out of the venue immediately.
The highly anticipated Hum Style Awards took place on Friday, 28th October in all its glitz and glamor. From well-known fashion icons gracing the red carpet to scintillating dance performances by some of our beloved celebrities, the event was quite a star-studded affair!
