Toyota Motor Japan has launched the  Toyota Vitz 2017 facelift! The beast features a facelifted exterior and comes with the option of a 1.5L Hybrid variant.

Here’s what the Toyota Vitz 2017 has in store for you:

Performance

Vitz Facelift features the next iteration of Toyota’s prove Hybrid Synergy Drive. The downsized HSD combines a 1.5L 1NZ-FXE petrol engine unit with a lighter more compact electric motor, transaxle, inverter and battery pack. It retains the 1.0L, 3 Cylinder 1KR-FE and 1.3L 4-cyl 1NR-FKE engines. It is capable of a mileage of 34.4 km/L (JC08 cycle).

Exterior

The exterior of the new Toyota Vitz comes with a redesigned fascia, which appears to be an evolution of the outgoing model. It now looks more striking, featuring a grille that is made bigger and goes all the way up to its nose, new bi-Beam LED headlamps and redesigned fog lamps. The rear-end features new horizontal LED tail lamps, and a scooped out rear bumper. Toyota Vitz available with three power terrains that include petrol, diesel and full hybrid.

Not much has changed inside the new Vitz. A fabric Barrel Brown upholstery and door cards with a brown shade is now available in the Vitz U grade, and a ‘Marsala’ sepia tone fabric upholstery and dashboard trim are available in the Hybrid Jewela and Jewela (including the Smart Stop package) grades.

Price

The new Vitz is priced between 1,181,520 – 2,237,760 yen.
