Deepika Padukone & Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie “Tamasha” is all set to hit the screens today and already the movie has received positive reviews from the audience across the globe.
Written by Imtiaz Ali, “Tamasha” is a romantic drama film, which is different from routine love stories. The movie revolves around the story of a guy named Ved (Ranbir Kapoor), who loses his self by living according to the social conventions.
Ved, who has grown up among stories, meets Tara at an exotic island in France. He wants his story with Tara to be different. Their largely chaste relationship revolves around playacting, and they avoid exchanging real names. So they only lie about themselves and they decided not to meet again after return from the island.

What happens when they develop fondness for each other will form the crux of the story.
Years pass, and Tara, still smitten, tracks down Ved. He is now a dull if prosperous product manager, making remarks like “Countries are companies, and companies are countries,” while she is a globe-hopping businesswoman. His job stifles his theatrical imagination, and Tara soon rejects him.
When she reconsiders, it is he who rejects her. But after an office meltdown, he is haunted by her observations, and discovers a life that lets him entertain others as he was entertained by the storyteller. Ved and Tara reunite after Ved has become an acclaimed director of stage extravaganzas.

As Ved, Ranbir Kapoor has delivered wonderful performance in it. Deepika Padukone has less screen presence, but she manages to steal the show. The movie has superb production values and AR Rahman’s music and Ravi Varman’s camera work are the main attractions in the technical front.
Many film goers shared their verdict on the movie on Twitter. We bring you some unique comments about “Tamasha”:
