UPDATE: Samsung is to officially unveil the Galaxy S7 on February 21st, 2016 in Barcelona at a Mobile World Congress. Thankfully, however, the world got to see the phone before the official launch due to the leaked images and pictures of S7.

We already know that Samsung’s next flagship Android Smartphone will look very much like the Galaxy S6 but we do know now that it will have curved edges similar to Galaxy Note 5.

Another major nugget from the report is the GS7 which will not have a USB-C port as rumored previously, though that cannot be confirmed. Evan Blass posted another picture of the Galaxy S7 Edge on Twitter; it is a larger of the two models expected.

This first leaked snapshot of Samsung S7 will not be sufficient to highlight all the significant details. However, it surely does reflect that some rumors are true.

It was widely thought that the 16 mp camera will be replaced by a 12 mp camera. This claim cannot be confirmed but the camera spot appears to be less protruding and more minimal in nature. The curved shape of the phone, however lives up to the CAD designs that were leaked before.

Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge To Release In February 2016?

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 Edge’s photo was shared from China. The phone was labeled as SM-G9350 when being processed by China’s Compulsory Certification body.

None of us should be surprised that Samsung has a new Edge along with the regular S7; the firm underestimated the demand for the S6 Edge last year, and it accidentally confirmed the phone’s existence on its own website.

Other major details about the internal specifications of the phone are yet to be released, such as phones’ chip sets and pressure-sensitive screen.

Hopefully, Samsung will be able to meet the demand for it’s Edge model and not face a situation like last year.
