Former team captain, Aamer Sohail is under fire for the comments he made on the Pakistani skipper and captain, Sarfaraz ahead of Pakistan’s match against India.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) lodged a complaint to the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) against television channel, Samaa for airing Aamer Sohail’s discussion against Pakistan’s captain on live tv.

A show cause notice was issued to Samaa by the media watchdog and has asked the channel to respond to the notice by 11 am on 23rd June 2017. The channel’s CEO has been asked to appear for a hearing on the same day. PEMRA has given Amir Sohail the choice to record his statement as well.
