PSL 2017 comes to an end, Pakistan and sports fanatics made a statement last night showing the world that cricket, sports, and tourism is always welcomed within the country! However, whilst PSL 2017 remained a huge success on the ground, PSL’s website got trolled by India!
While many were eager to watch the live stream online, the board had only granted the content licence to 2 websites, Cricketgateway.PK and Cricketgateway.com and no local Pakistani distributor (website) were given the rights for online streaming.
Pakistan Super League’s official website was streaming Indian content! PSL’s official website, i.e. http://psl-t20.com offered official live streaming for PSL matches including the final between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. However, to everyone’s surprise, it was streaming some Doordarshan channel.
Not to mention that this happened the night when millions of Pakistanis from home and abroad visited the official PSL website for live streaming. Coming back to the 2 websites which were allowed content streaming, here’s what we know about them;
