August 31st, marks the 20th death anniversary of one of the most appreciated and beloved royals of Britain, Diana Francis Spencer.

The princess of Wales was 36 years old when she passed away in a car accident on 31st August 1997 in Paris, France.


She created a fashion legacy and grabbed the world’s attention with her exquisitely-tailored looks and bold fashion choices. Diana’s iconic fashion looks are on display at Kensington Palace, in an exhibit which showcases 25 dresses and apparels Diana wore throughout her life.

Greek fashion designer Christina Stambolian dress for Diana was the “revenge dress” for the night as that very night, Charles announced his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles on television.

She wore this sapphire blue to match her engagement ring.

Catherine Walker carefully chose this color for Cannes Film Festival complimenting Diana’s hypnotic blue eyes.
