Pakistani Cinema Owners Affected!

Pakistani cinema owners had been facing immense financial losses due to the restriction of Bollywood content and it was reported that Lollywood films on their own did not bring in sufficient revenues either.

In an earlier interview to Brandsynario, Nadeem Mandviwalla, Chief Executive of Mandviwalla Entertainment shared his opinion on the issue. According to the veteran, the right of declaring a ban on Bollywood movies in Pakistani cinemas belongs to the state alone.

He said, “It was always called a suspension, not a ban – that prerogative lies with the Pakistani government”,
