Things couldn’t get any better for cricket fans in Pakistan because news is out that during the Pakistan-Zimbabwe series, there will be live musical performances by heart-throb singers Ali Zafar, Annie Khalid and Shehzad Roy.

If it wasn’t good news enough that cricket was being played on Pakistani soil again after six long years with a one-day match and a T20 series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, Pakistani fans will enjoy live pop music as well.

The series will be taking place from May 21st to May 31st.

The opening ceremony to the T20 match will feature Ali Zafar singing and crooning his heart away live for the excited masses at Gaddafi Stadium on May 22nd i.e. today.

Meanwhile, Annie Khalid, i.e. the bubblegum pop ‘princess’ of the Pakistani music industry who has been off-the-radar for quite a while now will make a live musical appearance on the 24th of May, during the series. The highly-anticipated cricketing series will be brought to a close with the evergreen singer Shehzad Roy taking center stage for the closing ceremony on May 31st.

With all the negative news circulating the rounds this week, it’s a fresh sight for sore eyes to see Pakistani cricket team and the music industry being a source of Entertainment and cheer for the locals.
