To overcome the problem of increasing pollution caused by traffic load, Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) has launched Vehicular Emission Testing System (VETS) in collaboration with provincial EPA's and Traffic Police.
VETS Obejeactives:
* To reduce excessive emission by providing counseling/guidance to masses to maintain their vehicles up to National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS)
* To create awareness among public about smoke emisions and its contagious effects on human health
* To sensitize citizens for protecting the natural environment
