In a very surprising turn of events, PTI chairman, Imran Khan confirmed this Tuesday, the news of his wedlock with Reham Khan who is a former BBC weather reporter ‘Reham Khan’.
Earlier on, there had been leaked news of the marriage between the two however by now Imran Khan himself has admitted to his marriage to Reham Khan. Earlier on the cricketer-turned-politician who is 62 had tweeted that the rumors regarding his marriage were greatly exaggerated.
The news had been initially reported Daily Mail, and on Tuesday at the Heathrow Airport when he was leaving to Pakistan for his flight, Imran Khan stated that, “I am going to Pakistan to share good news about my marriage with the nation. I have nothing to hide.”
Reham Khan, 41, is a divorced, mother of three and she has previously lived in Britain as well. Currently, she is a news anchor at Aaj TV.
Daily Mail has reported that Imran Khan’s sister and several family members were taken aback and very surprised at the official announcement of the confirmation of the marriage.
The public’s reaction to the alleged rumor was very negative and there was a backlash on social media. However since the news has been confirmed, Khan’s followers have been referring to him as “Kaptaan Pride of Pakistan” on social media forums.
