Recently, a news went viral in Pakistan when a statement on Qatar International Airline’s website was quoted by some media houses in Pakistan. The news mentioned that Pakistanis could obtain a visa on arrival for Qatar.
However, according to ProPakistani this statement mentioning a visa on arrival for Pakistani’s to Qatar has been deemed fake.
According to Qatar Airways, Pakistan is not included in the list of those 80 countries that are allowed visa on arrival in Qatar. The airline also confirmed that this was a hoax that spread over the internet.
However, Pakistani Nationals may obtain a free visa for 30 days. This is how they can do so:
- Apply for a visa from Qatar’s website.
- They’ll have to buy the tickets from Qatar Int’l Airline’s official website
- Will have to make a reservation in one of the listed hotels on airline’s website.
- Travelers must be having at least $1500 in cash or in their credit cards.
