Team Byco rose to this cause with a mission to serve the community in any way possible at this dire hour when the country is undergoing a crisis of great magnitude. Around 50 members of Byco Petroleum Pakistan Ltd including their top management gathered at the Carlton Hotel to pack relief items consisting of dry rations and mineral water bottles. Prioritizing development of corporate social responsibility within the organization, Team Byco devoted their time to assemble boxes containing the donations in kind. The levels of organizational hierarchy were disregarded for the day as Byco’s CEO along with President (Petroleum Marketing) and his workforce worked in harmony to complete 400 aid boxes. Byco’s CEO, Mr. Amir Abbassciy, stated that he is immensely proud of the effort and thoughtfulness his team members have shown in contributing towards their fellow Pakistanis affected by the floods. He believes that this is the time to put all differences aside and come together as a community to rehabilitate and rebuild the damages caused by the floods. Mr. Kalim A Siddiqui, President (Petroleum Marketing) of Byco Petroleum Pakistan also participated along side his employees. He commented that with team work and determination, Pakistanis will overcome this harsh period of time. He further stated that the destruction of the flood was felt individually by all Byco employees; but by working for it collectively, Team Byco sent out the message to the community that by working as a unit, any hurdle can be overcome. Team Byco ‘s Head of Brand Management, Ms. Farah Khan while putting in the relief goods in the cardboard box, stated she cannot express the feeling this activity has brought and is proud to have been a part of Team Byco’s flood relief efforts.
