About Event
A daylong seminar on promoting ‘Effective Media Strategies for Identification of Social Issues’ through the use of documentary and comedy Sitcoms was held on May 05, 2010 at the Arts Auditorium of University of Karachi. Mrs. Nasreen Jalil , Ex City Naib Nazim , City District Government Karachi was the chief guest of the seminar.
The honourable veteran of the entertainment industry and intellectual, Mr. Anwar Maqsood was the keynote speaker in the preceding. Vice Chancellor, University of Karachi, Dr. Peerzada Qasim presided over the ceremony. Mr. Azfer Ali most popular for the ‘Azfer & Manni’ show and Murtuza Chaudry were also the guest of the seminar. Other distinguished personalities from the media fraternity, faculty members and the students of university of Karachi also attended the event.
