The Bollywood Diva, Deepika Padukone has nailed a role in Vin Diesel’s upcoming film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, confirmed by Pinkvilla. The actress disclosed the distinguished news by posting an Instagram image, along with the B-Town starlet, Vin Diesel.

The entertainment sources earlier revealed that Deepika Padukone was auditioning for a role in the upcoming movie of Vin Diesel and after a prolonged success of her auditions, the actress finally confirmed her role in the Hollywood movie that stars Vin Diesel, along with Deepika Padukone.

The sources of Deccan Chronicle disclosed that Deepika at the night of Tamasha movie success party flew to America for a meeting with the Hollywood star Vin Diesel.

The source told to Deccan Chronicle, “The night after the success party of ‘Tamasha’, Deepika flew to America for a meeting with Hollywood star Vin Diesel. No wonder, Ranveer Singh is still promoting his next release alone! But who knew Deepika would surprise everybody with this photograph! It is a big achievement for her and she is finishing all formalities in America. She is returning to India tomorrow night.”

Deepika Padukone’s manager, Anirban Blah also announced the acclaimed news by congratulating the actress for her big shot in the Hollywood movie. In his Facebook post he wrote, “Am so so proud of this girl. What an announcement… What a journey it has been!!”

It is pertinent to know that Deeps was earlier offered a role in the Hollywood movie The Fast and the Furious 7, but due to her hectic schedule of the shooting of Ram Leela movie, the actress refused the offer.

Speaking bout the offer, the actress said, “I don’t regret it. I had to work out things for Ram Leela here, I couldn’t have left the process mid-way, I had given my commitment here first. Looking at the way the film (Ram Leela) has got the response, I feel good as my hard work has paid off.”
