Bunto Kazmi: The Kazmi label was launched 50 years ago by Mrs. Sughra Kazmi, Bunto’s mother in law .Bunto has carried the label forward and has been designing ensembles for the last 30 years. She  is well known for not just her beautiful ensembles but also for reviving traditional embroideries thus gaining fame as a “Revivalist”.

Sanam Chaudhry: New line stings with audacity. Never before has she exhibited such a fiery ambition and nerve. The pieces are urban with a tenacious edge. Once glance at the bold silhouettes in solid shades and you’re left “Bitten”.

Sanam Ahga: Color Chemistry is a showcased of the vast reflective colours that emit from the scorching sunrays that bounce of the desert sand in Rajasthan. The colorful light prisms that merge together create an alchemy fusing the warm and cold that speak of the desert surface. This collection is a contemporary look into the wearable and magical dye that speaks of the refraction and reflection of light. Colors of gold, fawn, silver, red, black, electric blue and orange, a wearable and romantic prêt collection with flowing fabrics of jamavaar chiffon, draped linens and plush velvet are what’s in for the house of Sanam.

Ayesha Hashwani: Collection name is Luxe-Chic for this showing, Ayesha has eschewed her traditional voluminous, draped and jewel-toned dresses to create a collection that emphasis her ability to meld formality and fun. The Luxe-Collection is more structured and contemporary without forsaking AFH’s expected timelessness. She will be showcasing trompe l’oeil dresses, cutwork embroideries and other looks reminiscent of the Studio 54 era glamour.

Pinx: Pinx’s collection for FPW 3 entitled “Goddess Unleashed” is a capsule collection of flow-y sumptuous silk and firm cotton gowns in rich jewel tones and neutrals, embelished with elegant tassels, delicate lace, shimmery crystals and chunky stones. Goddess Unleashed is a collection that travels well, whether it be to a private soiree in Karachi, a Red Carpet event in Los Angeles or for a romantic getaway to Hong Kong.

Arsalan Yaseer: After debut in Karachi Fashion Week in 2011, they are presenting their S/S 2012 collection in FPW 3. Vibrant and eclectic color combos with elegant cuts are a very integral part of this forthcoming collection. Yet again they are challenging Pakistani men to break free in the way they dress.

SHEHLA CHATOOR

The first designer tonight is Shehla Chatoor. A brand that has  always been synonymous with the level of sophistication and easy luxury. She presents her ‘spring equinox’ collection with ensembles ranging from western wear in suave jumpsuits, faux-casual wrap dresses and elegant and uber feminine cocktail dresses and  to eastern wear with intricate kamdani and zardozi work that push the boundries of tradition and infuse our national costume with a modern edge. Today’s silhouettes are rounded off with accessories, shoes and bags with her logo. all made ‘inhouse’ to complete the shehla look. the jewellery for today’s collection is provided by Sheherazad

KUKI CONCEPTS

Kuki concepts presents an antique banarsi collection called “Uns” which means “love”. the collection is dedicted to three most important people is Zahid’s life. His mother, Wife and daughter. The collection entails Rani coats, jodhpurs, churidars and Angrakhas as well as talasmanic Kaftas. The entire collection is created using vintage fabrics, as old as 50 to 100 years. Zahid’s vision for this collection shows the vivid colors of the unique fabric selection and the beauty of pure vintage material. presenting to you Kuki Concepts vision of the past.

Designers duo Ayesha Sohail and Sumaya Adnan who’s label is synounamous with luxury take on stage today for teh firsrt time, their collection ” pink camaflouge” inspired by the color of universal love “pink” . they present to you a feeling of calmness and warmth through blush , rose, salmon, fuchia and hot pink. lets take ou on a traqulising journey of hapiness and feminity.

Nomi Ansari:

The 3rd day of the Fashion Week ended in cheers and applauses for one of the big names of Pakistan Fashion industry-Nomi Ansari, whose collection was inspired by and specially made for some of the most beloved Pakistani celebrities including Frieha Altaf, Maheen Khan, Shamaeel Ansari, Adnan Siddiqi, Meera, Maria Wasti, Saadia Imam, Sabs, Sanam Aagha and Tooba Siddiqi with others, who actually joined the designer on the ramp and modeled for him. While Ahmed Butt performed on the song “I ‘m sexy and I know it”.Nomi paid his tribute to the stars and showed that he is able to take one step forward and go from catwalk fashion to pure entertainment. Day Four:

Sana Safinaz; Established in 1980 Sana Safinaz founded by Sana Haswani and Safinaz Muneer, is one of the most prestigious and established fashion labels in Pakistan. Partners and sister’s –in-law Sana and Safinaz are the driving force behind the Sana Safinaz brand. On the apparel side there are four separate collections comprised of the Pret, Diffusion, Bridal/ Couture and Export lines. For this collection in Fashion Week the collection was all about predictions and the trends that will start in the next six months.  The inspiration for this collection was Sharmeen Obaids win at the Oscars, as all people must know by now that Sharmeen Obaid wore Sana Safinaz at the Vanity Affair after party.

Tapu Javeri; Tapu Javeri, photographer, jeweller and artist for his first showcase presents tapulicious leather bags, one-off wearable art pieces that are inspired by his ‘Karachakra’ exhibition of the iconic buildings and images of Karachi. The innovative abayas have been designed by Atiya Khan. Are you tapulicious?…

Abdul Samad; In his latest collection, Abdul Samad pays a glowing tribute to the founder of Pakistan, the great Quaid-e- Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah.A man of refined taste, Quaid-e-Azam was well-known all over India for his exquisite and sophisticated dressing sense. His dresses comprise of both eastern and western cuts_ sherwanis, three-piece suits, tail coats, braces, separate collars, breeches, bows and neck-ties define his elegant taste of dressing. Abdul Samad makes an attempt to highlight the overall look of this legendary leader who was considered to be “the best dressed man in India” and a true trendsetter of his time. Deepak Perwani;   the next design house does not need an introduction. He presented a collection by the name of ‘Before Sunrise’ by Deepak Perwani!

Feeha Jamshed; “This collection is solely dedicated to my sister ‘Minnaal Tanvir Jamshed’, who passed away tragically last year in Paris. She was a force to reckon with and this collection is just an inch to celebrate and remember her at her best, which was practically every second, whether she was going through the most toughest phase of her life, I don’t remember her not smiling. This show is to remind us of angels that exist in the world and teach you things that stick with you for the rest of your lives one of the most special and unique people we will ever know. In the audience if anyone who knew her would agree with me, and that they will feel her being around as i did while making it. A special mention of my best friend Sana Hafeez’s baby sister Rooha Hafeez who passed away shortly after Minnaal, this is for two angels smiling down on us who changed our lives forever.” Ladies those were direct quote of our next designer Feeha Jamshed. Her collection consists of silks, cotton, velvet, muslin and cotton jersey…and the cuts are classic 90′s with eastern drapry into western attire. The music has especially been composed Mustafa Ali Jamshed titled, “For An angel.”

Honey Waqar; Fashion designer, Honey Waqar often called “The couture queen of Pakistan” is highly creative, splendid designer, who is known not only in Pakistan but also abroad. Her trademark is her extremely mesmerizing heart hitting bridal collection.
